Feedbok Terms of Service

Welcome to Feedbok (“Feedbok,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Feedbok provides QR-code based feedback collection and AI-powered feedback summarization services.

By accessing or using Feedbok, creating a QR code, or submitting feedback through a Feedbok QR code, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Feedbok account.

Individuals submitting anonymous feedback may use the Service only if permitted under applicable law.

Feedbok makes no guarantee that summaries are complete, accurate, unbiased, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated results before relying upon them.

6. Intellectual Property

Feedbok owns all rights in the Service, including software, branding, interfaces, and documentation.

Users retain ownership of any content they lawfully submit.

By submitting content you grant Feedbok a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, transform, paraphrase, summarize, and display that content solely for operating and improving the Service.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEEDBOK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FEEDBOK’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

Feedbok may suspend or terminate accounts at any time if these Terms are violated or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Users may delete their QR codes at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, excluding conflict-of-law principles.

Where permitted by law, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

13. International Users

Feedbok is operated from the United States.

By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Where required, Feedbok will comply with applicable privacy laws including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the Australian Privacy Act, and other applicable data protection laws.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, stored, and deleted.

Information We Collect

QR Code Owners

Depending on how you use Feedbok, we may collect:

Anonymous Feedback Submitters

When someone submits feedback through a Feedbok QR code:

We do not request or intentionally collect:

How Feedback Is Processed

When you submit feedback through a Feedbok QR code:

  1. Your response is screened by an automated moderation system to detect prohibited or unsafe content.
  2. The response is processed using OpenAI GPT to generate a paraphrased version designed to remove verbatim wording before storage.
  3. The original wording is not retained in our database after processing.
  4. The paraphrased response is securely stored.
  5. Once enough responses have been collected, the stored paraphrases are used to generate an AI summary.
  6. The summary is delivered to the QR code owner using the tone selected by that owner.

Data Retention

Individual feedback responses (stored as paraphrases) are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Generated summaries remain available until the associated QR code is deleted by its owner.

Account information is retained only as necessary for legal, security, operational, or tax purposes.

How We Use Information

We use information to:
